My first attempt at a personal web site. The views and opinions expressed here are a direct result of being born and raised in the last century. It is not my intent to alienate anyone visiting this site, so keep this in mind: This is the Internet. Odds are that if you are reading this document, you are probably on the Internet right now (just in case you didn't know).
I was still in the Air Force when the Internet came along and stationed in Menorca, Spain. At that time the best over seas assignment in the Air Force. MaryLou sold everything we owned in Utah, packed up Melissa and came to Spain. I had taken a year's lease on a fully furnished house and we lived off site in Ciutadella, Spain. Little did we know just how much the Internet would change our life along with most of the people on our little planet.
After the Air Force, we lived and worked in Utah from March of 1971 to May of 2005, then sold out and moved to Taos, New Mexico. Why Taos? Our daughter, Melissa, and her family had settled in Taos. After a soul searching session we decided it made sense to move here to be close to family.
This site is will attempt to explore the everyday activities of non-native New Mexico senior citizens in the tourist driven economy of Taos.
